Moray Mountaineering Club is staging a new style of Indoor Meet for November, using the usual successful slide show and speaker format in combination with a social event. It is hoped that members will bring along partners, girl/boyfriends, concubines, spouses (even other people’s spouses) to listen to an interesting presentation and enjoy a pleasant evening with a buffet meal and some drinks.

We are fortunate to have arranged Chris Townsend as a speaker. He is a passionate enthusiast for the wilderness and is the author of 16 books and numerous articles on mountaineering topics. He is the Equipment Editor of TGO magazine (since 1991) and is currently President of the MCofS.

The cost is £5.00 per person to include stovies, and members/guests should bring their own refreshments/glasses.

Tickets are available from committee members, or from Active Outdoors, Elgin on Mon 19th and Tue 20th Nov 07. Please purchase your tickets (£5) before the evening so that the food can be ordered in time.
