You are invited to The Moray Mountaineering Club’s Annual General Meeting to be held at 19:30 on 22 March 2012 at Glen Moray Distillery’s Visitor Centre. Please support your club by attending.
We need your help…
A number of committee members will be standing down and so the club needs your help. Any member can stand for election for any post, but in particular we have vacancies for Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary and Membership Secretary. If you want to know more about what these positions involve please contact the current committee member. You don’t need to have any particular qualifications or experience to be on the committee; just enthusiasm and a willingness to put something back into the club. We are also interested in hearing from members that are willing to contribute on a less formal basis, such as arranging specific events.
J Alister Sword Photography Competition 2012
The MMC annual photography competition will be at the AGM. Competition rules and entry procedure:
1. Two categories: Scottish and non-Scottish.
2. One photograph per member per category
3. Anything with a vaguely mountaineering theme is eligible
4. Photographs must be taken within the last year
5. Bring 1 x A4 size print to the AGM (write your name and description on the back)
6. Bring an electronic version (memory stick, CD…etc) to the AGM or email to Daniel Moysey
7. Competition entries may be selected for the 2013 MMC calendar.
Remember the only photos that won’t win are the ones that get forgotten in a dusty corner of your hard drive!
Bolivian Adventures – Slideshow
After the AGM, Joe Glennie will be doing a slideshow to share the thrills and spills of his (and Jake’s) recent adventures in Bolivia.
…and finally – there will be a free beer for all attendees!
