An excellent central location in the Eastern Cairngorms not far from the Lecht Ski Centre. This is an ideal meeting place to meet for some fun and frolics in the wild and beautiful but more remote parts of the Cairngorms. There are two Corbetts that can be gained just by walking from here, Brown Cow Hill and Carn Ealasaid. There are numerous other less trodden slopes and tops that can also be easily reached.

From here or from close by there are a number of paths and tracks that could be used for a bit of easy, intermediate or strenuous mountain biking adventures. Or why not combine a bike ride into the base of a hill you have not done before. Come along and do something not on Walkhighlands – an adventure!

If the weather is not too bad, I will be doing some fun navigation exercises on some nearby tops. And afterwards, there is a nice Café quite close or possibly Tomintoul.

There is a car park located at NJ 254 088 along a turn off from the A939 at Cock Bridge, some 4 Km from the Lecht Ski Centre.
