The November Day Meet is a car-share event on Sunday 17th November, organised by Brent Craig. Open to suggestions for a group route or activity but as usual you are free to do your own thing. We would urge everybody to car share as much as possible (even if this is only for part of the trip e.g. from Forres or Inverness or Beauly…)
A Glen not often visited, there are long days to be had here or just a bit of exploring in rocky and difficult terrain. Fantastic views down Loch Mullardoch and the hills that surround it. you could do but are not limited to:
- Sgorr na Diollad (818M) – a Corbett
- 2 or more of the Nth Mullardoch Munros e.g.. Carn nan Gobhar & Sgurr na Lapaich
- The Affric Munro’s of Toll Creagach and\or Tom a Choinich
- Or perhaps just a walk along the Fanaskyle forest Ridge
Whatever you want and for however long you want its up to you as long as you arrange transport and you let the organiser (me!) know.
Personally I am looking at starting from a lay-by at approx 284334 and doing Sgorr na Diollaid and then perhaps walking west along the ridge to the car park at Mullardoch itself. Anyone is welcome to join me on a social slog up to the ridge for lunch and views, if you want to know more about the club I will be happy to advise. Of course if the weather is bad I may change my route,

Car Shares.
These are social events where we agree a time and place for a Social Mountaineering adventure of some description. This may be an open or led walk, climb, bike ride, photography day or training event. We endeavor to share vehicles where that is possible in order to reduce the impact we have on our planet and of course to minimise parking issues at the location.
You are welcome to come along and take part whether or not you wish to share the travel. Some events are chargeable but this will always be stated.
