Glen Affric is one of the finest glens in Scotland and has big remote hills on high winding ridges. The first two Munros, Toll Creagach and Tom a’ Choinich are a good combination and offer superb views of Loch Mullardoch. The next two Munros, Mam Sodhail and Carn Eighe also make a good pairing but may just be out of reach, except for the very fleetest of foot, at this time of year. In the event of bad weather there are pleasant low level walks around Loch Affric or through the forest towards Cougie and Plodda Falls.

Just remember shorter daylight hours and that the bus will be leaving sharp at 15.45 to head for the Christmas Meal at the Priory Hotel in Beauly.

Christmas Meal menu:

The dinner will be followed by a glamorous awards ceremony culminating in, and starting with, the feared Boot Award – awarded for outstanding incompetence, ridiculousness or
downright stupidity. Last year’s winner will be a hard act to follow!

2012 Boot Award winner:

The cost of the Bus Meet is £15. The cost of the Christmas Meal including one drink and tip is £21 (same price as 2012). The total cost of attending the Bus Meet and Meal is £36.

Please contact Corinne Ferguson by email to book a place on the Bus and for the Christmas Meal. Let’s fill the bus for this one.
