Location: Just over 1km North of the A93/B950 junction.

Facilities: Three rooms (sleep 4 each), one room (Sleeps 3) with en suite disabled toilet & shower, one room (sleeps 2). Two large shower and toilet rooms (male and female) are located on the ground floor. The Kitchen is equipped with electric cookers, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, cooking utensils and kitchen accessories. Crockery, cutlery, bed linen (duvets, sheets and pillowcases) are provided but groups must supply their own food, washing up liquid and tea towels. A dining room next the kitchen seats 20. The centre has a large comfortably furnished living room. There is an external drying room and storage area for equipment such as bikes and skis. A coin operated telephone is located within the centre.

Nearby hills: Lots of hills accessible from Glen Shee and Glen Isla. Also not too far from Pitlochry hills. There is excellent rock climbing at Dunkeld which is not too far away from Blackwater Outdoor Centre. Lots of routes on good quality schist of all grades, and some bolted sports climbs too. And talking of bolted routes, if anyone fancies a trip to Scotland’s premiere sport climbing venue, it’s not far away, by Arbroath http://www.arbroathclimbing.com/.
