Applecross is a beautiful village on the west coast near…errr, nowhere. It is perfectly situated for all sorts of activities, including walking, climbing, kayaking, cycling and just wandering along the beach. We will be staying at the Applecross Campsite located at NGR NG714 443. There is a pub next door that serves good food and beer.
There are two routes in to Applecross…from the south over the spectacular Bealach na Ba, or from the north if you don’t like hairpin bends! As usual, folk will be heading over on Friday after work. I am not going to arrange lifts, but I might be able to help if you get stuck.
I need to give the campsite an indication of numbers, so please let me know whether you are going ASAP.
PS don’t forget your midge net!
