NB: The bus will be picking up in Elgin and Forres only.  Members from Nairn and Inverness can either make their way to Forres for the 07.20 pickup, or meet the bus in Grantown.

The classic traverse is back! There is something for everyone here: Munros, climbing opportunities and a low level walk through the Lairig Ghru.

There are more Munros than you can shake a walking pole at and the young and extremely young fit might even consider a round of all the 4000’ers.  (It has been done.)

On a fine day, this is a bus meet where climbers can get in a mountain route on the way. There are some nice options at the lower grades on Coire Sputan Dearg, including Crystal Ridge (Diff) and back in the mists of time, Andy reports, a VS was also done on Etchachan.
