A total of 30 people turned out for the Blair Atholl meet, including 4 guests.

Andy Brooks, George Sim, Bob MacDonald, Natacha Mihajlovic and Ray Harron all set out from Killiecrankie and headed up onto Meall an Daimh and Ben Vrackie.  They all enjoyed a good day out and even managed to get some sunshine.

Tish Richford, Linda Smith, Dave Whitelock and guest Joanne Napier left the bus at Blair Atholl and had a pleasant walk up Carn Liath.  They then continued to the summit of Braigh Coire Chruinn Bhalgain.  Joanne decided to descend from the bealach down the Allt Bealach an Fhiodha for a long walk out back to the bus.  The rest of the group continued onto the 3rd Munro, Carn nan Gabhar.  They had a hurried pace to get back to the bus, but made it just in time.

Jo and Paul Chappell headed off from Blair Atholl to Old Blair, where they followed the track up to the Cairn.  They then headed up onto Meall Reamhar and onto Carn Dearg Mor.  They returned to Blair Atholl via the rifle range where they enjoyed some fish and chips.  They enjoyed the fantastic views of the surrounding hills and even managed to spot some deer, grouse and snow hares.

Daniel Moysey, Illona Morrice, Corrine Ferguson, Jake Lee, Evelyn Droege and guests Margaret Hattersley and David Strathdee set off for a long but nice walk by the river before heading up to the summit of Carn a’ Chlamain.  After the steady approach, Jake suddenly decided to sprint up the steepest part of the hill.  Dan and Jake took an alternative route off the top and soon met up with Graeme, Chris Muir and Chris McCann on their circuit from Ben Dearg.  They also saw a fine old arch bridge over a very narrow gorge.

Ella Grant and Graham Milton set off for the summit of Beinn Mheadhonach.  They both enjoyed a great day with warm weather walking along the ridge that seemed to go on forever, but at least it was easy going.  Graham persuaded a passing driver to give them a lift the last 3kms back to the pub, where they enjoyed a well earned drink earlier than anticipated.

Graeme Morrison, Chris Muir and guest Chris McCann set off from Old Blair and tackled the unlikely accomplishment of both Beinn Dearg and Carn a’ Chlamain.  Despite the patches of snow and numerous steep hills they all arrived back at the bus in one piece and were very appreciative of their pints of beer. A long but very enjoyable day.

Paul Geraghty, Alastair Wren and guest Ian Geraghty set off on a long walk to reach their first Munro of Carn Liath.  They reach the next Munro of Braigh Coire Chruninn bhalgain via Beinn Mhaol before heading for the final Munro on Beinn a Ghlo.  The summit was in and out of cloud and very windy.  They descended the hill on their backsides in the snow patches, which was good fun.

Heavy Whalley managed got a lift (cheating!) up the track from his pal Tom MacDonald and Nelle the dog.  They headed up Carn Liath, where other members of the group caught up with them.  They proceeded onto the second Munro, Braigh Coire Chruninn bhalgain.  They descended to the bealach then walked back.  On their return to Blair Atholl, Heavy sent his friend Tom back to assist the “the very fit party”.  They enjoyed great weather and spotted some stags and hares.
