Castle Ridge, Ben Nevis - June 2008

A veritable cornucopia of hills are accessible from Glen Nevis and points en route: The Ben itself, the Mamores, the Aonachs, even the Grey Corries.

One interesting, if long, walk would be the Ring of Steal and The Devil’s Ridge. This is also a particularly useful venue for climbers: Apart from the superb scrambles and ridge climbs on the north face of the Ben, the Polldubh crags themselves are easily accessible, with routes that can be done within the time constraints of a bus meet. The bus will wait at the Polldubh Car Park for the day.
