We would like to welcome new and prospective new members to come along to Achnashellach and get to know us.

• Are you a mountaineer, climber or walker who is looking to add a new or different dynamic to your sporting activities?
• Not sure about joining our Club or not sure a Club is for you?
• Worried that you do not have enough experience to join the Club?
• Used to be a member and considering rejoining?

Each year we run a meet specifically designed for prospective new members. Current members and Committee members will be there to organise some walks and/or some climbing depending on your preference. We can answer your questions and tell you a little bit about how the Club functions, what we do and how you can become part of an active, adventurous and sociable group of people who love to be in the mountains.

We have weekend meets, every month to locations all over the highlands, bus and car share days most months, climbing jaunts in the evenings, social activities, slide shows and film nights.

Bus Pick ups

Elgin – Lossie Green car park @ 07:00
Forres – Toll booth bus stop @07:30
Nairn – @ 07:40
Inverness – bus stop outside DFS @ 08:00
The bus will return reaching Elgin at approximately 20:30

Itinerary

• Travel to Achnashellach / Coulags.
• Soup and Sandwhiches at the Ledmore Hotel
• Please note there is a charge of £20 per head to cove the hire of the bus.

Other Information

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct clothing and equipment as well as something for Lunch. There will be experienced Club members to help, advise and show at the climbing crags and on the walk. It is important that you tell us about your experience levels and anything else that may effect you or anybody else during the activities. Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs or other pets to join us.
