Hi Folks, Hello 2026,

The Club is having a fun, learning journey in the northern Cairngorms on Saturday 14 March (0930-1630). A chance to learn/practice some navigation and some winter skills depending on the conditions. No previous experience necessary.

Watch out for the snow conditions and when appropriate be prepared for full winter conditions: ice axe, crampons and winter boots. The club has a limited amount of kit you can borrow and you can hire stuff at Tiso (worth booking in advance if you do).

It will be led by our own esteemed Sandy of ex Mountain Rescue fame.

If any club member would like a place then please confirm to me by replying to the email invitation. I will send further details closer to the time.

If you have any queries, concerns or questions, need any help with anything, then please just ask me.

Thanks
Alistair
