Hi Folks,

The days are getting shorter so time to start dusting off your warmer, winter kit, check your head torches and be prepared to navigate in poorer and darker conditions.

There will be Club Night Navigation Training on Sat 28 Oct.  No previous experience necessary.  Free to members.  This is a light-hearted event where you can learn and practice skills.  Please car share where you can.

MEET 1530 at Logie Steading Cafe – We will meet at Logie Cafe at 330pm for some tea and cake and revision.  After that we’ll head off onto Dava Moor (different place than last year) before it gets too dark and then do some realistic navigation practice in small groups.  Finish towards 9pm.

CLOTHING and KIT – Please bring a head torch, compass, map-case.  Map will provided but if you have any of the Dava Moor area then bring them along.  Also the usual waterproof, warm hill gear, hats and gloves, a warm drink and snack.
