Est. time of departure: 18.00

For this bus meet, the Moray Mountaineering Club return to Bonnie Prince Charlie and Harry Potter country. As well as the Glenfinnan monument and viaduct there are also shed loads of fantastic hills located here.

If Munros are currently your thing you may wish to undertake the magnificent horseshoe of Sgurr Thuilm and Sgurr nan Coireachean. Alternatively, Gulvain can be reached via Gleann Fionnlaide. If your current focus is Corbetts, there are at least nine that can be undertaken from, or nearby to, Glenfinnan: Sgurr an Utha, Streap, Braigh nan Uamhachan, Meall a’Phubuill, Beinn Mhic Cedidh, Beinn Odhar Bheag, Sgorr Craobh a’Chaorainn, Sgurr Ghiubhsachain and Stob a’Bhealach an Sgriodain. For any Graham-baggers out there, there are also a handful of Grahams: Glas-charn, Aodann Chleireig, Meall Onfhaidh, Glas Bheinn and Meall nan Damh. If you’re not fussed with hill-lists, and just fancy ascending a hill that is an outstanding viewpoint, Beinn an Tuim is hard to beat. There are also plenty of low-level walk options in the area.

Please support your Club by attending this meet – it would be great to fill the bus.
To book contact Malcolm Campbell via email by Thursday 17th October.
