David’s been doing a great job of getting the weekend meets sorted. Here’s the latest update. To book on to any of the meets, please email David. We’ve included some write ups of previous meets for inspiration. Weekend meets are open to guests too, please feel free to email for more information.
30th-2nd October Elphin caving hut, Elphin
£10pppn. Currently full, but not many on the reserve. If you book now there’s a good chance you’ll be on the meet! Fabulous location for the Asynt hills. For ideas a previous meet report can be found here:
4th – 6th November Gairloch Sands Youth Hostel, Gairloch
£25pppn. The fancy dress has been announced. This year it shall be film characters! Plenty of space, and a fabulously appointed youth hostel. For ideas check out last years report:
2nd – 4th December Mill cottage, Glen Feshie
£15pppn. A gorgeous glen, with plenty of space remaining in the hut. Check the previous report at:
30th December – 2nd January Ballater Hostel, Ballater
£22pppn. I’ve had some people asking to stay just one or two nights, therefore we should be able to manage this at £25 for a single, or £50 for two nights. Hogmanay is always great fun and well worth coming to. Entertainment will be provided, including a quiz. More to be announced closer to the time!
3rd – 5th February 2023 Inverardan Cottage, Crianlarich
£12pppn. The home of the colour coded chairs. Great little cottage and plenty of big hills. You shouldn’t be struggling for ideas around here, but if you are check out:
3rd – 5th March 2023 Ling Hut, Torridon
£15pppn. Glorious location, basic hut. But all the essentials. Last visit was surprisingly comfortable! Ideas can be found at:
31st March – 2nd April Cairndow Village Hall, Cairndow
£15pppn. The club have not been here for years, but it’s such a good location for the Arrochar Alps and the Argyll hills. You’d be daft to miss it. This is a great town hall, it even has a badminton court!
28th April – 1st May Corrie & Sannox Village Hall, Arran
£10pppn. Some said two village halls in a row was madness. It’s been a while since we had been to Arran and it was a great location back then. So I thought why not book it again!
