The Glenbrittle hut is ideally situated for access to the Cuillin Ridge. Literally walk out the door for access to the hills from Sgurr na Banachdich to Sgurr nan Eag, including great climbing and scrambling. If you are heading into the Cuillin, then it’s a good idea to consider taking a climbing helmet – you don’t have to be “climbing” for a rock to fall on your head!

There are also loads more hills a bit further afield including all the Red Cuillin and Trotternish ridge. The Isle of Raasay is also well worth a visit.
