The committee is pleased to invite members to this year’s Christmas BUS Meet. As there are 90th birthday celebrations in November, we (the Committee) decided that our Christmas Meet would break tradition for the second year in a row. Like last year, we hope you’ll join us for a mince pie and mulled beverage, this time on the banks of Loch An Eilein.

Some members are considering a 15km walk from Loch an Eilein car park (parking charge) up to Creag Dubh (848m) following the route suggested on Outdoor Active’s website. Note that this is not a “led” walk. Link to OS map. Members are of course free to plan their own adventure and meet up for the picnic

Christmas Picnic: 2pm (ish) picnic at Loch an Eilein . Sadly we can’t provide the picnic but please bring your own goodies. Tinsel, Christmas hats, Eggnog all optional but recommended.

Bus Etiquette: The bus will be the big Maynes bus, seating arrangements will be confirmed based on numbers. We would like all Members to feel comfortable returning to meets, confident that we as a Club are all looking after one another. We respectfully ask that masks are worn on the bus and that you perform a lateral flow test prior to joining the bus. If you do not feel comfortable with joining the Bus, you are more than welcome to meet us there.
