Car meet, Inverlael, 16 August 2026

Dan got dropped off at Loch Droma. The midges were out so no time to hang around. Went up Beinn Dearg via the south ridge. Misty views down to Loch Ghranda over 200m below. Continued over Cona Mheall then Meall nan Ceapraichean. Somewhere on the misty descent I overtook the president’s party. We all met up on the final climb to Eididh nan Clach Geala.  Returned to Inverlael via the long west ridge.

Sheena, Fiona and Andrew went up Gleann na Sguaib to the bealach seperating the three munros. Tumed left and ascended Meall nan Ceapraichean.  Rough descent in the mist. Then met Dan and went up Eididh nan Clach Geala and back to Inverlael.

Almost everyone else took in all four murros, starting with Beinn Dearg then Cona Mheall. Eric left the main party after the first two hills and returned to Inverlael.

A Great Day out despite rather misty conditions.
